澳洲新闻集团3月8日报道称，随着新州继续遭受恶劣天气袭击，当前洪水危机导致数百学校停课。

随着恶劣天气继续袭击新州，成千上万居民被迫撤离，大量学校已经关闭停课。

在短短几个小时内，Hunter、中央海岸、悉尼、Illawarra和南海岸都出现了暴雨加剧。当局称，许多住宅、企业和道路被淹没，一些河流的水位仍在上涨。

恶劣的天气条件迫使该州大量学校暂时停课。
